17 April 2014; The Iraqi Higher Population Council, and in cooperation with UNFPA, launched the National Population Policy and the document of “Management and Mechanisms of Population Policy Implementation”.
The Population Policy is aiming at improving the living conditions of Iraqi people in terms of health, education and effective participation in social, economic and political life in the country.
