UNFPA Representative, Rita Columbia, visited the Minister of Planning, Khalid Al Najim, with whom she discussed UNFPA support to the Ministry’s human development and livelihood projects.
They also went over the Census and on-going preparations for conducting it as soon as the situation permits.
Dr Columbia reiterated UNFPA support to the Government’s priorities reflected in the UNFPA Country Programme Document in relation to the humanitarian, development, and peace nexus, emphasising on the pivotal role young people and women in the process.
