Baghdad, 7 June 2020 – The Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq a.i./Humanitarian Coordinator/Resident Coordinator, Mr Richard Dictus, met with the Minister of Planning, Professor Dr Khaled Battal.

DSRSG Dictus and Dr Battal discussed the cooperation of the Government of #Iraq and the United Nations in combating the coronavirus pandemic, humanitarian operations, reconstruction and stabilization of the liberated areas, as well as the preparations for the general census.

Dr Oluremi Sogunro, UNFPA Representative in Iraq, Ms Zena Ali Ahmad, UNDP Resident Representative, and the National Census Advisor, Mr Mahdi Allaq, also attended the meeting.
