Population challenges, status of women, violence against women, population growth, family planning, and the Nairobi Summit for Population & Development (ICPD25) were at the heart of the discussions between UNFPA Representative to Iraq, Dr Oluremi Sogunro and the First Lady of Iraq, Ms Sarbagh Salih.

Ms Salih expressed her interest in attending the Nairobi Summit along the President to present Iraq’s priorities and commitment towards improving the livelihoods of citizens across the country.
